INTERNATIONAL PUMP USER CONFERENCE

ADAPTING PUMPING SYSTEMS FOR AN ERA OF LIMITED AND EXPENSIVE POWER

Latest developments designed to address this new environment and ways to modify existing systems without incurring a crippling financial burden

IPUC HISTORY

Since its inception in 2005, the International Pump User Conference, IPUC, has taken the lead in providing a platform for high-profile pump and energy specialists, from Europe, USA and South Africa to address delegates from all major industry sectors including mining, petrochemical, bulk and waste water, pulp and paper, as well as pump manufacturers.

Acclaimed experts in the field present papers providing solutions for both short and long term energy savings, pump efficiency, highlight the imperatives affecting reduced life cycle costs of pumps and also be available to address all issues affecting today’s pump user.

IPUC was started in 2005 by Harry Rosen, who as the then Chairman of the Central branch of the South African Institution of Mechanical Engineering (SAIMechE) saw the need for a forum of pump specialists to have the opportunity to share their information. Today SAIMechE is still associated with this prestigious event. To date each of the three conferences has attracted key organisations involved in pumps, pumping systems and energy awareness as sponsors, endorsers and speakers, proving the importance of this event, both locally and internationally.

This really is the only event of its calibre in the world that brings together pump manufactures, pump users, pump industry bodies and energy specialists and bodies into one room.

Plant Engineers, Consulting Engineers, Maintenance Managers, Mine Managers, Production Managers, Project Managers, Design Managers, Process Engineers, Energy managers and Pump manufactures are invited to join us in 2011 on the 13-14 September.
